You Could Paint A Car In Here

That was the funniest thing that was said when we were having new bathroom exhaust fans put in. I went way bigger than we needed and love the results. There is almost no moisture in the room during and after a shower . The mirrors don't fog at all. We had an exhaust in the "Pink" bathroom, but it was loud and small, and wasn't vented out the attic. We didn't have a fan in our master bathroom. I purchased to Broan fans that are 2-2.5 sones, mid range loudness that provides some privacy when taking care of business.

Additionally, we took out the carpet in our hall and on our stairs. We will get them refinished soon. I have a time frame but it may not work out.

For the vents I will just show you the finished products. I also took two pictures of the 4" insulated duct work run from the vents out the roof. A friend helped me install the roof vents and I did the duct work in the attic. The insulated ducts are the way to go in this situation to avoid moisture/condensation on the ducts that drips onto insulation/wood and can cause mold.

Here are the finished bath fans. This is the master.

This is a close up of the master.

Here is the fan in the "Pink" bathroom. The ceiling paint is still drying so the color looks a little off.

Here is the duct work in the attic. Although it looks huge, it is only 4" ducting. The insulation makes it look huge. The other stuff is the ducting for our Spacepac system.

The stairs looked like this.

Here's what we found underneath.
