Organized Sports

Today was the first day of organized sports for both #1 and #2. 0700 hrs came nice and early for baseball practice. I was just glad we were able to get there a little early so we could get donuts and coffee. I picked up munchkins so it would help #2 with meeting the kids. He unfortunately missed the first few practices. Well, all in all I think he did really great. He did pretty good with the ground balls and the fielding. He also did a great job batting. First game will be Friday.

#1 had her first soccer game today. She hasn't made any of the practices because she was late to get signed up. However, you would have never have known she missed all the practices. She started at right forward, played center forward, and goalie. On one of the first plays she almost scored. It was a great shot. She also had a couple other great shots and passes. I think I was most proud of her during her time as goalie. She stopped a few shots and punted the ball excellently. In fact, not one other goalie punted the ball. When she did, it went half the field. We have some pictures for you to see.
