Yankees Win!

If you aren't up on 3rd/4th grade base ball, that is the headline from tonight. #2 had his first game, it was against the Orioles. They were big and mean, all 4th graders. He played second base and fielded a pretty hard hit ground ball. I think he was a bit surprised he actually caught it. He did make the throw to first to get the runner out. I only saw one of two at bats because I had to leave early for my dodge ball tournament. He was walked both times and scored both times as well. Then, while in center field he caught a fly ball. I am so amazed and proud of my son. I have worried about this first game for so long and prayed so much for him. I just can't believe he did so well. He really needed this as a confidence booster. We took pictures and I will post them hopefully tomorrow. However, after many games of dodge ball and a 4th place finish out of 32 teams, I am kind of tired. We also have a soccer game early tomorrow and then I have to work four hours. Also going to try and hit a Chicago Rush game in the evening.
