Paint and Tile

Well, I got a great surprise phone call this morning. I was expecting to sleep in but instead my awesome dad called asked if I wanted to put in the tile. Of course I accepted his offer. I am glad I finished all of the painting on Thanksgiving. However, Thanksgiving was a bit of a crazy day with doing all the priming, painting the walls and ceiling, and radiator. I also did all my lawn work and then worked from 11pm until 7am.

When I first put the paint on the walls I literally said "O M G!" I really liked it. Once all the painting was done I really felt like we were getting somewhere. Here are the pictures of the paint and the tile. I just have to grout, seal the grout, and caulk. After that is done we can put in the toilet. We bought the Eljer Titan 4. Supposedly it can flush a bucket of golf balls but I won't be attempting that any time soon.

Here is some of the paint before the tile.

Another view

Here is a view of the tile up to the wood floor transition. There is almost no transition and it sits pretty flush.

Here is the full floor.

Next time you see this picture the radiator will be back in place, the floor will be grouted, and a toilet will be sitting over that hole. Hopefully it doesn't leak. I have read a few older reviews from 2007 of the same toilet but maybe by 2011 those would be rectified.
