Tub and Surround

After the plumbing got completed I were were able to get the tub and surround it. I went with a surround because it will be easier to care for with the kids. It is a direct to stud mount and went it pretty easy. Here are a few pictures of it.

This is the faucet and control. Everything will be finished with a brushed stainless steel. In the upper left hand corner you can see the shelf on the surround. One shelf goes the width of the surround.

Here is the shelf. It doesn't look good in the picture but it does look nice when you see the whole thing.


The paint is on the walls but I am not taking pictures until after I put a second coat on and it dries. Next comes the tile and grout and then the toilet. Then we can start using it even though we are still waiting on the vanity top.
